Robert K. Beamer, D.O.

Originally from Ohio, Dr. Beamer attended Ohio State University, where he received a degree in Microbiology. He attended medical school at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri then completed his internship at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He is Board Certified in Family Practice and is Certified, Special Recognition, in Geriatrics. After spending his first years in medicine as an Army physician, Dr. Beamer came to practice medicine in Pinellas County. Dr. Beamer currently holds positions such as Residency Clinic Director and Physician Advisor on the Utilization Management Committee for St. Petersburg General Hospital. He is a proud member of the Medical Staff at St. Petersburg General Hospital, Northside Hospital and Largo Medical Center.

Dr. Beamer has a special interest and focus on preventive healthcare. He practices the "whole person" approach to medicine. Dr. Beamer performs Osteopathic Manipulation (OMT). With OMT, "osteopathic physicians use their hands to diagnose illness and injury and to encourage your body's natural tendency toward good health". In combination with other available medical treatments, he is able to offer his patients the most comprehensive care available today.

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He is an avid golfer and also enjoys bicycling and kayaking. When not outside, you may find him watching his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes.

Stacy Vest, D.O.

Dr Vest graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney where she was a member of the UNK Diving Team, Big Brother's and Big Sisters and worked as an Anatomy/Physiology proctor. She went on to graduate from Des Moines University - Osteopathic Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed her residency program through Largo Medical Center Indian Rocks campus and became board certified in Family Medicine. She is focused on preventative medicine of chronic medical conditions, as well as women's health.

She has been practicing community health in Pinellas County for over 5 years. Dr Vest is also the Medical Director of US Coast Laser Center of Clearwater where she is specialized in Botox injections, Laser/light therapy treatments, and Dermafillers.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has an interest in science fiction novels, traveling and enjoys exercising in the outdoors. It has been a long time desire to become a teaching physician, sharing her knowledge and experiences with newly training physicians. She will be lecturing and assisting in the education of Family Practice Residents at her new position with Family Care at Bardmoor.

Suzanne Johnson, D.O.

Dr. Johnson received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from the University of South Florida and completed her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, FL. She is trained in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment and is competent in family medicine in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She was Chief Resident at St Petersburg General Hospital Family Practice Graduate Medical Education program and a recipient of the 2011 Florida Family Practice Resident of the Year award by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Dr. Johnson will assist in the continuing education of the residents.

Dr. Johnson’s professional experience includes a number of medical missions to Port-au-Prince, Haiti and various locations in Guatemala. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, combined with outdoor activities.
